Hi all,
I have no idea how to listen to The Q. After I check the thing for high speed, it won't even play.
I wish they made it so after you click "Tune In," Winamp would open. That would be much better. I have a feeling in order to listen to the Q, you need to register. That is stupid.

No, you don't have to register. Make sure you hit the save button after you check the thing for high speed.
If you still have problems I can get you the direct IP to put in your winamp.

Hey,
I just went to the Q's web site and this time, I was able to listen. It started to play automatically. It seems what happens is the first time you choose your speed and click "Save," it won't play for some reason but if you go to the site from then on, it works. It is weird the way it works.

Why don't they just link to the pls. It doesn't stop anyone from recording etc, and if that's not the reason the listen links are different, I don't know why you wouldn't do it like everyone else.

The Q is licensed through Loudcity.com, soand they count the number of people visiting the site so they'll have an idea of how many hits the site has gotten. If you click on the link that says listen with a player that handles pls files, you can have Winamp come up and you can then save it as a bookmark with alt plus i.
